The Queen has reportedly moved her “best friend” into Windsor Castle as she fights mobility issues. Her Majesty, who is 96, has moved her best pal Angela Kelly in.

Kelly, aged 69, is living at Windsor Castle as the head of state battles failing health. Angela, who has been the Queen’s dresser for nearly 30 years, has her own suite with 42inch telly.

She has been one of the monarch’s closest aides since she started working for her 28 years ago. A source told The Sun : “She lives there now. She has moved in.”

It comes as some of Angela’s outfits for the Queen go on show for the Platinum Jubilee next month. The Windsor exhibition, from July 7 to September 26, will focus on the Queen’s Coronation and will include the Coronation Dress and Robe of Estate.

At the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, a display, from July 3 to September 25, commemorating past jubilees will feature a collection of outfits worn by the Queen during her Silver, Golden and Diamond Jubilee celebrations. A pale turquoise dress and coat embroidered with scattered silver flowers with a coordinating hat by the Queen’s senior dresser Angela will be exhibited for the first time.
