Movement is opening a brand-new gym in Mountain View this weekend, bringing 24,000 square feet of bouldering, yoga, and fitness to the community. The facility will be offering free climbing (with free rentals and a climbing basics class) this Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, and also plans to host a formal open house on Saturday, May 31st, to introduce area residents to all the facility has to offer.
This will be Movement’s fifth Bay Area location, joining gyms in San Francisco, Belmont, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara—and it’s packed with some awesome new features.

Amenities & Offerings at Movement Mountain View:
- 7,800 square feet of bouldering – From fun, beginner-friendly routes to an epic overhanging cave for the crushers, plus TB2 and Kilter Training Boards for extra challenge.
- A boutique-style yoga studio – A peaceful space to stretch, flow, and restore.
- A fully equipped fitness area – Strength and cardio zones, plus a turf space for functional training.
- A dedicated community space – For climbers to connect off the walls.
- A gear shop – Stocked with all the climbing essentials.
Heading up Movement Mountain View is Gym Director Ben Le, who was previously the Assistant Gym Director at Movement Sunnyvale. “I can’t wait to grow the Movement community in Mountain View and help build an incredible community here,” said Le. “Climbing, yoga, and fitness are more fun when you’re surrounded by great people, and that’s exactly what we’re building here in Mountain View.”
Getting to the gym will be easy for members. There’s plenty of free parking and nearby public transit options like the 22-El Camino bus line, Caltrain San Antonio Station, and MVgo Routes C & D. The gym is also surrounded by great local restaurants and businesses, making it a perfect spot to train and hang out.
