Black Country, New Road announce new single ‘Besties’ and tease new album with interactive billboards across London
Black Country, New Road have announced a new single and teased their next album with interactive billboards across London.
The band shared a short snippet of their new track ‘Besties’ on their social media channels, which you can view below. It is out next Thursday (January 30) and can be pre-saved here.
It comes after several billboards popped up across London teasing their new album with the date “04.04.25”.
They have been spotted in Stoke Newington/Shacklewell, Cambridge Heath Road, New Cross Gate, Kingsland Road and Mare Street.

On three of the billboards, fans are able to press a big red button which lights up a star, which is a key visual motif of their album campaign. You can view some of them below.
Their last album ‘Ants From Up There’ was released in 2022. The record scored five stars from NME, which described it as “majestic, romantic indie-rock”.

The band have also been announced to appear at this year’s End Of The Road festival alongside the likes of Father John Misty, Caribou, Self Esteem, Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory, Mount Kimbie, GOAT, former Black Midi frontman Geordie Greep and Aussie punk band Tropical Fuck Storm.
The festival will be held at Larmer Tree Gardens in Dorset in the summer and will run between August 28 and 31. Visit here for tickets.
