Meteorologist Karen Rogers says the rain lingers through lunchtime and that keeps temps on the cool side.
TODAY: The western suburbs have had a soaking all night. That rain slowly shifts eastward, but mostly falls apart before reaching the coast. Morning rain will create a slow rush. The rain lingers through the early afternoon hours. Late in the day and evening the skies will finally brighten pulling temps out of the 60s and into the low 70s. Very cool for June. High 75.
