New shows for 2025 comes as the band embarked on UK and European leg of the ‘Power Up’ tour last summer.

This tour also marks the band’s first run of shows with their new line-up, comprising singer Brian Johnson, guitarists Angus and Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and new bassist Chris Chaney (Jane’s AddictionAlanis Morissette).

The ‘Power Up’ tour takes its name from AC/DC’s 2020 album of the same name, their 17th studio record. In a four-star review, NME wrote: “By the time things wrap up on ‘Code Red’, which sees the band firing on all cylinders, it becomes clear that their steadfast refusal to adapt or change is no bad thing. While far from a reinvention of the wheel, ‘Power Up’ is a joyous celebration of the unbridled heavy rock that has served them well for almost 50 years and, we can hope, a unifying cry for the future.”

Meanwhile, Dave Evans, the original singer of AC/DC recently revealed the story behind how the band came up with their name, and developers recently “accidentally” demolished the house where Malcolm and Angus Young formed the band in 1973.
